


Siapakah APE Malaysia? Animal Projects & Environmental Education Sdn. Berikut adalah beberapa perkara mengenai APE Malaysia dan bidang kerja mereka berkenaan kebajikan haiwan. Program ini merupakan usahasama antara APE Malaysia dan iM4U. © APE Malaysia Menitikberatkan pada pendekatan taksiran dan praktikal sepanjang tempoh dua hari, peserta bakal berinteraksi dengan pelbagai jenis haiwan dan meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai cara-cara pemuliharaan yang berkesan. Program ini bertujuan untuk menyerlahkan sikap eksplorasi peserta yang akan mendalami isu-isu kebajikan haiwan melalui aktiviti pemerhatian dan pengalaman secara langsung dengan hidupan liar di zoo.

This is why, in order to keep our pets happy we also need to play with them, give them exercise, provide toys and challenge their brains! Enrichment can be anything ranging from games and devices that challenge the animal’s mind to things as simple as scattering seeds in the enclosure of the animal. For many people, the idea of “enrichment” is a new one, but to anyone who has ever owned a pet it makes perfect sense.Ī happy animal is not only an animal that is fed and sheltered, but one that is stimulated mentally and physically as well. How does APE Malaysia improve animal welfare? “Enrichment” will be a term that participants will hear a lot of in this programme.
KERTAS KERJA PROGRAM SUKARELAWAN IM4U SERIES
This event will be part of a series of collaboration between APE Malaysia and iM4U to spur environmental stewardship amongst our youth. They currently conduct volunteer and education programmes at: – Melaka Zoo & Night Safari in Melaka – The Corridor of Life, Lower Kinabatangan River in Sabah – Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, Sepilok, Sabah – Matang Wildlife Centre, Kuching, Sarawak This collaboration aims to train more youths who can champion animal welfare in the country. Their programmes are designed to be embedded within partner project sites and aim to benefit the environment, wildlife, animals and community of the area through monitored and measured conservation outcomes. (APE Malaysia) is a social enterprise that develops volunteering and educational programmes in support of conservation and community projects in a sustainable manner. Who is APE Malaysia? Animal Projects & Environmental Education Sdn. © APE Malaysia Using a variety of interpretive and practical approaches over the two days, participants will be able to connect with diverse animals and acquire the know-how for effective conservation action.Ī joint education programme between iM4U and APE Malaysia, here’s what you need to know about the latter and the work that they carry out pertaining to animal welfare. The programme aims to unleash the participants’ inner explorer as they gain insight into animal welfare issues through observation and personal encounters with wildlife in the zoo. Instead of merely scratching the surface about Malaysian wildlife, participants will get a fully immersive learning experience on our local animals and their unique behaviours and characteristics. Understanding Welfare Needs of Animals in Captivity An exciting collaborative environmental education and awareness programme between APE Malaysia and iM4U will be held on August 1st and 2nd at Melaka Zoo. Through experiential learning, the programme titled ‘Green Volunteers: A Learning Trail of Malaysia’s Wild Animals’ will enhance the participants’ understanding and appreciation for the animals that call Malaysia their home.
